Directions to Sow's Ear:From Redding, drive west on 299 to the SECOND turn-off for Lewiston; it will be on your right. 

From Weaverville/west, drive about 12-15 minutes and take the first Lewiston turn-off (it will be on your left; you will also see a sign for the winery). 

Check your odometer and drive 3 miles, passing Trinity Fly Shop and One Maple Winery. At three miles, take a LEFT onto Browns Mountain Road (there is a small ranch on the left corner with a red and white sign that says "TIRE REPAIR" and on the right is a sign pointing left for Bucktail Hole and Trinity River Access). Drive down the hill and over the river. Take the first right after the river, onto Salmon Drive. Go one block where Salmon dead-ends at Steelhead Circle. Right on Steelhead and go to the end (about 1 long block). Sow's Ear is on the left at the end there is a sign out front. Curve left up the driveway and you are home.

Our cabin is at the very end on the right. It's round and sage green and behind a tall, weathered fence. Come down and say hi, or just go on into Sow's Ear and get settled. Our patio with its fire pit, the 600+ feet of riverfront and the hot tub just upriver of the lawn are to be considered yours and we won't be happy if you don't take advantage of them!
