Trinity River Adventure Inn's cabins are in two locations on the upper Trinity River. We feature year-round fishing; river and lake kayaking and rafting; hiking; birding; wine tasting and lots more. We provide wonderful meals (optional) and have a great 14' raft and fleet of Ocean Kayak sit-on-top kayaks available for rent and sale.
Our Bucktail location for Sow's Ear is 3 miles from Lewiston. The Steel Bridge location is 6 miles away; it has 4 cabins on the Trinity. It's got a productive salmon hole and steelhead riffles along its shoreline. Just 45 minutes west of Redding, we are perfectly positioned for fishers, kayakers, hikers and people who want to kick back and relax.

We're dog-friendly, have our own dogs, and occasionally take them on their own adventures. Click here to see Steph and Mark Grayson (www.trailerdogs.com) wiring the dogs' motorcycle trailer. It's 6 hours compressed into 3 minutes and pretty fun to watch, especially seeing how helpful Mark's dogs and ours were!

Steel Bridge Lodging: 4 cabins on the Trinity River

Carriage House: Entire interior soft cedar. 1BR/1BA with additional oak captain's bed. Wonderful, deep riverside porch

Miner's Cabin: A romantic hideaway perched a few feet above the river. Enchanting location in a private grove of trees. Riverside porch. Dorm-sized refrigerator plus large cooler

Bucktail Lodging: Cabins on & near the Trinity River
"Superlatives are necessary to describe all aspects of our visit. We went with our daughter, avid fisherman son-in-law, their 2 children and their golden retriever. It was great to be able to spread out to accommodate toys, naps (children's and adult's!), etc.
